A bathtub that looks worn, stained, or discolored doesn't always need to be replaced. Refinishing also called reglazing is a process that strips the old surface, repairs any chips or cracks, and applies a new durable coating that restores the tub's appearance and extends its useful life by years. For homeowners in Cornwall On Hudson, NY who want a fresh-looking bathroom without the time and expense of a full replacement, refinishing is often the most practical option.
Water Heater Co. approaches bathtub refinishing with the same attention to quality we bring to every service. Surface prep is the most critical step a coating applied over a poorly prepared surface won't last, and we've repaired more than a few DIY refinishing jobs that started peeling within months. We handle the full process: cleaning, etching, priming, applying the topcoat, and allowing proper cure time. The result is a smooth, renewed surface that holds up to daily use and looks significantly better than the tub you started with.
